Mary-Eugenia Brizuela is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and OCD specialist providing expert Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy in Tampa, Florida. As the founder of Anxiety Center of Tampa, Mary has over 13 years of experience in the mental health field and has spent more than a decade specializing in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, and related conditions.

Mary is recognized for her specialized expertise in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD. She works with adults throughout the Tampa Bay area and across Florida, helping individuals overcome intrusive thoughts, compulsions, panic attacks, health anxiety, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, and OCD-related fears that interfere with daily life. While her primary focus is working with adults ages 18 and older, she also provides OCD treatment for motivated teens ages 14 and older.

There, she provided treatment in both the Adult Anxiety/OCD Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and the Child and Adolescent Anxiety/OCD Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), receiving extensive supervision and advanced training in Exposure and Response Prevention therapy.

In addition, Mary completed the prestigious Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTI), an intensive training program offered by the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF). This highly selective program is considered one of the premier training experiences for clinicians specializing in OCD treatment and ERP therapy.
